E. Michal Gayer and Bob Gayer are the founding directors of Lightshine Ministries International. Developed as a Christian teaching outreach ministry, the ministry offers numerous teaching programs and events.

Traveling extensively, the Gayers have been guest teachers in almost 500 churches across the United States in just the first seven years of outreach ministry. They have presented the Narrow Gate Biblical Healing School, the Experiencing God's Power and Healing Life Conference, the Understanding Biblical Healing Conference, and the People of Excellence Conference in churches and as community events throughout the country. Many of these materials are being distributed world wide free of cost to people in need through donations to the Healing of the Nations outreach. In addition to extensive distribution in the United States, materials have been sent free of cost to other countries including Bolivia, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, El Salvador, England, Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sierra Leone, the Ukraine, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Gayers are also the founding directors of the Healing Rooms of Augusta County, VA, a direct ministry to sick people, which ministered to over 50,000 sick and hurting people in the first six years of its operation. The Gayers also teach and train people to enter the healing ministry and assist in the development of church or community-wide healing ministry programs.
